Turning Cold Into Gold: NetViet Holdings Signs Strategic Consultancy Deal to Promote Investment in 40,000-Pallet Cold Storage Project

In a move that signals Vietnam’s growing role in regional logistics and agrifood value chains, NetViet Holdings has officially signed a Consultancy Agreement for Investment Promotion with strategic stakeholders involved in a cutting-edge Cold Storage Project with a total capacity of 40,000 pallets.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s infrastructure development for the cold chain logistics sector — a backbone for food security, agriculture exports, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce fulfillment. Under the consultancy mandate, NetViet Holdings will act as the lead advisor, tasked with unlocking foreign and domestic investment, identifying key joint venture partners, and positioning the project within priority economic zones.

“This isn’t just about building a warehouse — it’s about enabling Vietnam’s perishable goods to travel farther, fresher, and with higher value,” said Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Chairwoman of NetViet Holdings. “Our mission is to turn this project into a national model of cold chain excellence, with investment that is smart, strategic, and sustainable.”

The state-of-the-art cold storage facility, once completed, will be among the largest in the region — equipped with temperature-controlled chambers, smart inventory systems, and energy-efficient cooling technology. It is strategically located near major ports and logistics hubs, serving as a critical link between Vietnam’s farm gates and international markets.

As part of the signed agreement, NetViet Holdings will deliver a comprehensive investment roadmap, including:

  • Investor targeting and matchmaking (local & FDI),

  • Development of a compelling investment dossier,

  • Public-private partnership structuring (PPP),

  • ESG integration and export compliance.

The signing event drew the presence of representatives from provincial governments, logistics firms, agri-exporters, and financial institutions, all expressing strong interest in the high-growth potential of cold storage infrastructure.

According to recent market data, Vietnam’s demand for cold storage space is expected to double by 2030, driven by the rise in seafood, fruit exports, and vaccine storage needs. This project, with its large-scale capacity and investment-ready design, is poised to capture that momentum.
